Craig Hall


Instructional Software Training Lab - Students get hands-on training in AVID, ProTools, Adobe software, and other software that is taught at the 18 computer stations in this lab.

Instructional Screening Lab - This lab space allows students to screen their work for critique and assessment.  It provides a professional screen environment for reviewing audio and video work.

Advanced Editing Suites - Two smaller, self-contained editing rooms exist for individual AVID and ProTools projects.



Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts


Protools Audio Lab
Students cut audio projects on ProTools HD systems in this lab. Music mixing along with sound design work for film, video and animation occur in this digital audio post-production lab.

Electronic Music Studio
Located in Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts, the Electronic Music Studio serves as a recording studio and hands-on classroom for music production. Students learn digital audio editing techniques on Sound Designer II. Advanced sequencing and multi-track recording can all be done within this studio.



Siceluff Hall


Interactive New Media Lab - Students learn how to create multimedia, web content, interactive applications, and experimental, site specific works using 20 Mac computers located in this facility.




Strong Hall


Strong Hall Music Recording Studio
Students learn live recording techniques in this small music studio, recording bands and sound effects directly into a ProTools HD system. Surround sound recording is also taught in this facility.

Avid Editing Lab
Advanced non-linear post-production for film and video takes place in this lab. Students cut narrative films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos on the AVID editors in this post-production facility.

TV Studio
Students study cinematography and lighting in this studio, as well as television production. Green screen and other special effects work also occurs in this lab.
