About EA Video Studies
The video studies track emphasizes storytelling, no matter whether your film is narrative, documentary or experimental in nature. Crafting a good story that engages, informs and moves the viewer is the key to success in this program.
To craft their films, EA students have access to advanced high definition and 4K digital video production gear as well as industry-standard AVID editing systems. They also have access to state-of-the-art production resources including a high-def TV studio, music scoring, and a voice-over facilities.
In collaboration with their peers who specialize in sound design, computer-generated visual effects, and multimedia distribution platforms, video studies majors have enjoyed enormous success. In the past ten years alone, their work has won over 100 awards (including a Second Place EMMY for the web series Epilogue in 2013) and been screened at festivals all across America from California to New York, Michigan to Florida. Their films has even been screened in India, England, Italy, China, Czechoslovakia, and at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
